    Louvre - DNP Museum Lab

    2010 - 2013

“Louvre – DNP Museum Lab” is a collaborative project between the Tokyo based company DNP (Dai Nippon Printing Co., LTD) and Louvre Museum. The purpose of this project is to infuse art lovers with a brand new viewpoint in art appreciation.
The second phase started in October, 2010. "graf" was in charge of the art direction/design of the PR materials, and also took charge of designing the information magazine “Expanding the senses”.
I was involved in this project as an art director for graf. I proceeded with this project carefully to enable it to become the start of conversation, which is referred to in the vision of the project as “A dialogue with an artwork that opens up the senses and the self”. I intentionally included a space in the design of the PR materials such as posters and information magazines with the intention of encouraging people who see this to use their feeling and imagination. I also incorporated some fun elements into other PR materials such as invitations. By doing so, I wanted to give opportunities to people who held the PR materials in their hands, to “Expand their emotions” and to “Expand themselves”.
